it is very clear that Marketing and Advertising are being confused
by the ' ivory tower experts ' .
Social Media Marketing is that activity
that creates an interest or desire
for your Brand , Product or Service .
Marketing does not necessarily create an immediate Sale ,
and the results are intangible
which means they are not easily measurable .
The Marketing should be conducted concurrently
with Social Media Advertising
for Best Results .
which directly results in a Sale
of your Product or Service .
It can be measured with tangible results ,
and the demand is created by Social Media Marketing .
The reason why the two different fields are being
confused on Social Media has to do with
who is discussing the topic of ROI .
The are too many ' ivvory tower experts '
who are being paid by Big Business to represent their Brand ,
telling Small Business that there is no ROI in the Short Term
on Social Media .
Breaking News ;
Small Business is not in Social Media to be social ,
but to create Sales for their Product or Service .
No Short Term Sales means exit the Social Media Campaign .
The Small Business owner is not being paid
a fat Salary to chit-chat all day .
Of course this does not mean that
we are telling our Clients not to be Social ,
but we have to be pragmatic with our advice .
There is no such thing as a Stage 1 -
12 month Plan for Small Business ,
where it is all Brand awareness and no Sales are made ,
this is a Big Business Plan .
Sales need to be made in the first 1-3 months ,
or the Small Business owner loses interest
and invests elsewhere .
which is effective Advertising .
being impressed with abstracts doesn't mean they
will Buy your Product .
2. The Ad must contain a specific Call to Action -
Include a Special or a particular Offer
for people from Social Networks .
is the ability of the Network to pinpoint your audience .
If done correctly ,
this can produce far better ROI than other Advertising sources .
If you effectually combine
correct Marketing and Advertising Strategies
your Business can obtain excellent ROI
in the first 12 months of your Campaign .
